About Us

Flower Hill Farm Retreat is housed in a 1790 farmhouse and studio situated on an east facing hillside 15 minutes west of Northampton, Massachusetts. Rambling organic gardens, fields and forest surround the Flower Hill Farm Retreat and are home to a diverse wildlife habitat. Carol has welcomed guests from around the world for the last 14 years. The rustic farmhouse is divided into two very private apartments. Our 'writing studio' is between the farmhouse and barn. All 3 spaces are air-conditioned, offer WiFi, and can be private retreats for individuals, or combined and rented as one for larger parties of up to ten. Flower Hill Farm has laundry facilities which are available on site for small fee by appointment.

Downstairs apartment is antique part of house offering stunning views through an eastern wall of windows.There is a private sitting room, Queen bedroom, small Double bedroom, full bathroom,vegetarian kitchen. Our nightly rate for downstairs is $200 for up to 3 guests. The living room fireplace works and may be used seasonally, only on approval for an extra fee. The Downstairs can be linked to the Studio (a convenience for larger parties) or be a completely private space.

The upstairs apartment offers cozy niches with expansive views. A private front door entrance to a bright vegetarian kitchen and dining nook, full bath, Queen bedroom, Single sofa bed, small sitting area, balcony and laundry room. Rate $170.00 for 2 guests.

Studio offers Queen bed with claw-foot tub out in room. No cooking. No shower. $160 for 2. For B&B stay add 50.00 per night. No tax.
