Hilltown Open Studio

Join us for the Hilltown Open Studio Tour! What is it? Thirty artists of a variety of media will be on the tour, hosting guests in their studios and available to discuss their work from both the technical and the creative side. There is no fee, but many of the artists will have work for sale. The tour covers five towns and is spread amongst rolling hills, farms, forests and mountain streams – plan your itinerary over the entire two days to see each studio. New this year is an exciting partnership with the William Cullen Bryant Homestead, a property of the Trustees.

Artists featured at the Bryant Homestead: The work of sculptor Beckie Kravetz, landscape painter Scott Heyl, and metal sculptor James Kitchen will be on display at the Homestead during the tour. James Kitchen will do demonstrations of turning forgotten pieces of scrap metal from the Homestead barn into art.

Tours of the Homestead with highlights of Bryant’s influence in the arts will also be available that day to visitors. To conclude the weekend, join us for a beautiful dinner in the field curated and prepared by Wheelhouse Farm on June 23rd!
